Tenebris Somnia is a 2D retro survival horror adventure game from Argentine developers Andrés Borghi and Saibot Studios, published by New Blood Interactive — the label behind DUSK, AMID EVIL, Gloomwood, Fallen Aces and ULTRAKILL. You play as Julia, a woman who visits her ex-boyfriend to return an old apartment key, never finds him, and steps into a parallel universe where monsters hunt her. The game is built in the spirit of the 8 and 16-bit era classics like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
What sets it apart are the live-action cutscenes: at certain key points the game cuts away to sequences filmed with real actors and practical effects by a professional, award-winning film crew from Argentina. This fan-made guide tracks everything officially confirmed so far — the October 16, 2026 release date, the full official PC system requirements, the status of the free Steam demo, supported languages and platforms — and will expand with real puzzle and story coverage once the game launches.
